According to Section 4 of the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, Partnership is the relation between persons who have agreed to share profits of a business carried on all or any of them acting for all.

According to the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, the Minimum number of Partners is 2.

But the maximum number of partners is not prescribed by the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, however, Section 464 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rule 10 of the Companies (Miscellaneous) Rules, 2014, provides a maximum limit of 50 partners.
